Sarah, owner of Salon de Cheveux, has been working as a hair stylist, colorist, and make-up artist for over a decade. She started her career in 2005 at a top salon on Boston’s Newbury Street, and has been working in the Boston area ever since. Sarah became owner of SDC in 2016.
Sarah specializes in natural focused styles. She is dedicated to the belief that healthy hair is beautiful hair. Her goal as a stylist is to collaborate and connect with her clients, and enhance their inherent beauty with fresh, natural looks. Sarah is a strong believer in continued learning and education, and works hard to foster this type of environment at SDC. She frequently travels cross-country to train and work with top celeb stylists- she became a certified beauty coach in 2016 after attending Beauty Coach Dallas with celeb stylists Nikki Lee and Riawna Capri of the LA based salon 901. She mastered the French technique of balayage by training with balayage specialist Candy Shaw in Atlanta, Georgia. Sarah is a certified master colorist through the Wella World studio in NYC and has continued her cutting and styling education at the Redken Exchange located on Fifth Ave in Manhattan. She takes great pride in having detailed product knowledge in the salons two primary retail lines, Oribe and R+Co.
Drawing inspiration from the ever-changing trends in the beauty industry, Kerri began pursuing and continuing a career as a hair stylist in 2005. After graduating with a cosmetology degree from LIBS, Kerri worked at a salon in South Boston where she gained experience and a loyal clientele. She has continued her education in advanced hair cutting & coloring techniques at The Redken Exchange & Wella Studios taking the lead from top industry stylists. Kerri brings her style inspiration back to all of her clients here in Boston.
Ali, who has been a stylist at SDC since 2011, strives to personalize every guest’s experience by tailoring their look to their lifestyle. Clients book with Ali for the best in cutting and coloring- she specializes in blondes, balayage and foiling. Ali's goal as a stylist is to enhance her clients' look in a way that best complements their natural beauty. Ali has trained extensively with celeb stylists at top salons across the country, she became a certified beauty coach in 2016 after attending Beauty Coach Dallas with celeb stylists Nikki Lee and Riawna Capri of the LA based salon 901. She mastered the French technique of balayage by training with balayage specialist Candy Shaw in Atlanta, Georgia.
Shauna, originally from Michigan, has been working as a hair stylist for over a decade. Having curly hair of her own, Shauna specializes in both the cutting and coloring of curls, and enjoys teaching her clients how to love their curls and make them work at home. Throughout her ten years in the industry, Shauna's love for the craft has grown exponentially. She has been a color educator, is Vidal Sassoon trained and also Ouidad certified. Shauna has a passion for healthy hair and loves working with hair types of all kinds.
KC has been working as a professional hairstylist since 2011. KC is best known for her blowouts- a skill she mastered earlier in her career when she worked as a stylist at Dry Bar. She also specializes in blonde hair and balayages. KC enjoys building relationships with her clients, and always makes sure that everyone feels special when they are in her chair. Jordan has been working as a stylist in Boston for over five years. She specializes in everything from cutting to color, but is particularly well known for her Brazilian Blowouts. After giving the perfect color and cut, she loves sending clients out in beachy waves. Jordan is always working to expand her knowledge base, and has earned certifications in Wella color, Balayage, and Brazilian Blowout.
